Valmai is one of our most popular mares during stud visits, a classically marked mare with an abundance of bone and silky feather, she is herself an International winning mare and has now also producing show winning stock (i.e Abergavenny Angharad now owned by the Sangrug Stud. 2014 saw her debut under saddle, with Claire & Valmai having what can only be described as a phenomenal first season.  Not only did they win Supreme Welsh Cob under Saddle at the Royal Welsh as well as Reserve Supreme Ridden of the entire show, but a little while later, they also qualified for HOYS. With the briefest of interludes to have a baby, Claire & Valami returned to the ring in 2015 and were 1st, Supreme Champion ABCD HOYS Qualifier at the National Welsh. 1st & Champion at Sennybridge & 1st, Champion & Reserve Supreme at Usk Agricultural Show. The two are back out in 2016 and have started on a high note being 1st, Champion & Supreme Ridden at Lampeter in April. The success continued with another Hoys qualification as well as winner of the mare class at the Royal Welsh as well as reserve champion Welsh Cob under saddle.
